Suzhou Rainbow Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. has obtained a Factory Production Control Certificate of Conformity under the European Union Construction Products Regulation, marking an important step in the company’s work to support compliant industrial steel chimney products for the European market.
Certificate No. 1029-CPR-CN26/00004934 was issued under Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011, commonly known as the Construction Products Regulation or CPR. It applies to cylindrical steel fabrications used in single-wall steel chimneys and steel liners.
The certified products have been assessed in accordance with EN 13084-7:2012, the European standard covering cylindrical steel products for use in single-wall steel chimneys and steel liners.
The certificate covers cylindrical steel components, including single-shell steel chimneys and inner steel tubes. According to Annex 1, the certified material scope consists of:
Carbon steel S355JR, in accordance with EN 10025-2
Stainless steel 1.4571, in accordance with EN 10028-7
The stated intended use is free-standing chimneys.
This defined scope is significant because the certification is linked to specified products, materials and manufacturing conditions. It should therefore be understood as applying to the products described in the certificate and manufactured at the identified production plant.
The assessment was conducted under System 2+, as defined by the Construction Products Regulation.
Under this system, the manufacturer establishes and maintains Factory Production Control, while the notified certification body assesses whether the production-control system conforms to the applicable requirements. The certificate confirms that the provisions concerning the assessment and verification of constancy of performance described in Annex ZA of EN 13084-7:2012 have been applied.
Factory Production Control provides a structured basis for maintaining consistency throughout manufacturing. It covers the procedures and records used to control materials, production processes and finished products within the certified scope.
The certificate also states that its continued validity depends on there being no significant changes to the harmonised standard, the construction product, the applicable assessment methods or the manufacturing conditions, unless the certificate is suspended or withdrawn by the notified certification body.
The certification gives customers, engineering companies, distributors and procurement teams a clear reference when reviewing Rainbow’s covered industrial steel chimney products and their manufacturing-control framework.
It also demonstrates that the named manufacturing facility has undergone an independent assessment of its Factory Production Control system for the specified cylindrical steel components.
The certificate is valid from July 6, 2026, to July 5, 2029, and is identified as Issue 1. Rainbow will continue maintaining the applicable production-control procedures and supporting documentation throughout the certificate’s validity period.
By establishing a clearly defined certified scope under EN 13084-7:2012, Rainbow is strengthening the compliance foundation for its free-standing steel chimney and steel liner products while providing international customers with transparent information about the applicable materials, manufacturing location and certification framework.
